CMIP CM Internship Program 2024
The Chief Minister Internship Program, initiated by the Punjab Government’s Youth Affairs and Sports, offers six months of paid practical work experience to unemployed youth, aiming to enhance their future employability rates.
Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched a ‘Chief Minister Internship Program’ for youth aged 18-25, offering 6000 internships over six months, with a monthly remuneration of Rs. 25000.
The interning graduates will be offered placement in reputed organizations in the private sector. Recruitment will favor the candidates who have most recently graduated not earlier than 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria
- The age range for applicants is 18-25 years, with the last two years of graduates eligible.
- 16-year degree holders and diploma certification holders are welcome, and candidates must have 16 years of HEC recognized education or Specialized Diploma.
Diploma Specializations
Three years of Associate Engineering or Agricultural Sciences programs are required, followed by two years of various roles such as Medical Laboratory Technician, Radiography & Imaging Technician, Operation Theater Technician, Physiotherapy Technician, Ophthalmic Technician, Public Health Technician, Dental Hygienist, Renal Dialysis Technician.

The election registration deadline is September 30th, and candidates’ internships are scheduled for November 1st, 2024, to compensate for the August summation, with the provision of specific candidates’ registration expected to follow.
The Punjab Government and Chief Minister offer Skills for Employability Training for new graduates and diploma holders, which is free and paid during the training period.
What is CM internship program?
The Chief Minister announced 6,000 internships in Phase-I, covering six months, for selected interns in prominent private sector institutions, with a monthly stipend of 25,000 rupees provided during their internship period.
